Nice and warm in the restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Food perfect. The usual friendly staff. Altogether a great lunch out. On the way out booked again!
We came for our 47th wedding anniversary and loved our evening. The staff were attentive in a good way. The food was great and it was lovely to see it quite busy on a very wet Wednesday evening.
It was easy to book a table online. For our starters We both ordered the Tempura Calimari with Aoli and garnish, which was a little on the chewy side. Then I ordered the Seared Lambs Liver and bacon with Mash, Peas and Gravy, which was really good and my friend had the Pork Loin steak which was so thick she had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. She said it had just the right amount of salt on the steak. We were both so full after our mains, that we didn’t need a pudding.
We were a party of four. I requested a large table for four in a quiet part of the restaurant, which we were given. The waiting staff were very attentive. The food was excellent.
I've eaten at the World's End on a number of occasions. The food is always great quality, well presented and generously portioned. Customer service is good, attentive and happy to cater to your dietary requirements etc
